This operation largely consists of visual novel passages and point-and-click sections, although there are short gameplay sections that are more in line with a traditional Sonic the Hedgehog experience. As the title suggests, the story revolves around Sonic's murder, and players are put in a position to investigate the case. Coming out of nowhere, The Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog might be the Blue Blur's best official game in a long while, at least in the sense that it accomplishes everything it sets out to do.
